Dance Society FAQ
Everything you need to know before your first class at our Exton, PA studio: the Free Day Pass, what to bring, pricing, memberships, events and parties.
Getting started
Do I need dance experience?
Not at all. Every class is designed for adults at every level, and the choreography is built to be followed in the moment. Modify anything, take breaks whenever you need, and leave feeling better than you walked in.
What is the Free Day Pass?
Your first day at Dance Society is free. We made it a free day instead of one free class because many members love taking a dance fitness class and a strength class back-to-back, and we want you to try it all. It's for new visitors only, one free day per person, and special events aren't included. Claim your Free Day Pass.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and supportive sneakers, and bring a water bottle. For Mindful Flow, wear something you can stretch in. We have mats at the studio, and you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Who are your classes for?
Dance Society is an adult dance and fitness studio for every age and fitness level. HEC Yeah! is designed with older adults in mind, PRIME focuses on strength, balance and mobility, and Mindful Flow is a slower, yoga-based option. Birthday parties and private events are open to all ages.
Can I take dance and strength on the same day?
Yes, and many members do. Pairing a dance class like Zumba or Bombay Jam with a strength class like UPLIFT, Total Body Sculpt or Circ & Burn is one of the most popular ways to spend a morning at the studio.
What are the age guidelines?
Dance fitness classes: Ages 12 and up. Participants ages 12–15 must attend with a parent or guardian.
Strength classes: Ages 13 and up. Participants ages 13–15 require parental approval.
Friday Night events: Ages 12 and up.
We may occasionally offer special events open to younger participants. Any different age requirements will be clearly noted in the event description.
A parent or guardian must sign a waiver for anyone under 18. Participation by minors is subject to studio discretion based on the class format and their ability to follow instructions and participate safely.
